Andris “Andi” J. Schultz, 41, left this world to be at peace on Friday, November 14, 2025. Andi was born on January 17, 1984, in Seoul, South Korea, adopted by parents Dr. Lynn and Ruth (Sahczinski) Schultz on December 13, 1984.
Andi grew up in Waterloo, WI, where he was surrounded by many caring family and friends. He loved sports - both playing and watching. From little league baseball to karate to ice hockey to swimming - he enjoyed it all. In high school, he excelled in cross country and track, among other extracurricular activities like music. Andi also loved being outdoors, with a passion for hunting and fishing, especially with family and friends.
He served our country in the United States Army, deployed for one tour of duty in Iraq. Upon his return, Andi explored various career paths. He ultimately returned to his love of the outdoors, working for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources as park manager at Harrington Beach State Park for the past seven years. He lived nearby with his beloved dog, Rex, and cat, Toby.
Andi is survived by his parents, sister Emily (Clément Le Barbenchon) Schultz, nieces Madeleine and Charlotte Le Barbenchon, and many other family members and friends near and far. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Irvin and Muriel (Strasburg) Schultz and Raymond and Valeria (Sawicki) Sahczinski.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass to be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 5, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Church, 387 S. Monroe Street, Waterloo, Wisconsin. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00am until the time of service, and there will be a luncheon after the mass. Andi will be laid to rest in a private burial service at Washington Cemetery in Portland, Wisconsin.
Andi will be greatly missed by family and friends and will be forever remembered for his charm, humor, and smile.
Memorials may be made in his name to Dane or Jefferson County Humane Society or charity of your choice.
