Adeline N. Kowski 84, of Waterloo passed away on Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Willowbrook Nursing and Rehab in Lake Mills.
Adeline was born on June 23, 1932 in Mcleod County Minnesota the daughter of Hubert and Meta (Polchow) Sitz. Adeline taught at St. John's Lutheran School in Waterloo and several other Lutheran Schools through the years. She married Harold Clarke in 1955 and he passed away in 1978, later in 1981 she married Charles Kowski. Adeline was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hubbleton.
Survivors include: three daughters Kathy Clarke of Waterloo, Karen (Tom) Hromadka of Waterloo and Kristine Clarke of Boulder Creek, CA; nine grandchildren David, Jason, Adam, Jackie, Jessie, Alina, Todd, Bill and Becky; eight great grandchildren Matthew, Brittany, Elora, Jake, Justin, Michael, Ella and Katie; brother Robert (Mary) Sitz of Hutchinson, MN. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three sisters Eunice, Lois and infant sister, grandson Nathan. Memorials in Adeline's honor may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hubbleton.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
